2nd Annual Fun Run, Saturday, Sept. 20th, 2008
With the options of a 5K, 10K, or a 1-mile walk, there is something for everyone (timed results will be provided). Dogs, children and strollers are welcome at the Fun Run. The routes for each event will begin at Big Ole on the Central Lakes Trail.
All participants will receive a long-sleeve t-shirt and a goody bag and there will be drawings for prizes. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Lakes Area Humane Society.
Registration for 5K/10K and 1K Kid’s Run – 6:45am
10K starts at 7:30am......5K starts at 7:40am
1K Kid’s Run starts at 8:45am
Dog Walk registration – 8:30am......starts at 9:00am
About the LAHS
The Lakes Area Humane Society (LAHS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, formed in 1989 by a group of concerned citizens wishing to make a difference animals in our community.
Donations and fundraising events provide over 20 percent of LAHS funding. Support from businesses and individuals are essential to fulfill our mission.

We are open to the public Mondays and Wednesdays (12pm-6pm), Thursdays and Fridays (12pm-5pm) and Saturdays (11am-4pm) at 3811 Nevada Street SW in Alexandria (call us at 320.759.2260).
